Every dart you throw, my friend, creates a unique trajectory arc – that curved path your dart takes from your hand to the board. Understanding and consciously controlling your natural arc is vital for consistency and helps you adapt to different darts.
Some players naturally have a flatter, more direct throw, while others have a higher, more looping arc. There's no single "best" arc, but consistency is key. Your trajectory is shaped by your release point, wrist snap, and how much power you put into it. If your darts are consistently hitting the board "tail up" or "tail down," it might be a sign your arc needs a little adjustment. Try small changes to your release height and power to find an arc that makes your dart enter the board cleanly, nose-first. A consistent trajectory ensures predictable dart flight and better groupings.
