Winning a leg of 501, my friend, always comes down to hitting that final double or bullseye. As your buddy, I'll guide you through the "outshot" – your tactical plan for finishing. Mastering it means knowing the easiest and most reliable paths to victory. Don't just throw randomly; plan out all three of your darts.

Here's the golden rule: always aim for a double you're comfortable with. While D20 might be the highest percentage shot for some, if you consistently hit D16, then go for that! For numbers ending in 0 (like 40 or 60), D20 and D10 are usually prime targets. For odd numbers, you'll need a single to set up a double. For example, on 50, you might aim for T10 (30) to leave D10, or S10 (10) to leave D20.

Memorize common checkouts, especially those under 100\. Practice these sequences until they become second nature. Knowing your outs cold removes pressure and helps you focus on execution. The more comfortable you are with different routes, the more efficiently you'll finish legs.
