Instead of thinking, "I'm so nervous, I'm definitely going to mess this up," tell yourself, "My body is energized and totally prepared for this challenge! This is exhilarating!" By consciously choosing to see those physical sensations as positive energy, you turn a potential hurdle into a performance booster. This shift in perspective lessens anxiety's grip, replacing self-doubt with a vibrant sense of anticipation. Practice this reframing during your drills, especially when you feel a little bit of pressure. Soon, your brain will start to connect those sensations with peak performance!
