Consistency, my friend, is the ultimate goal in darts, and the "Round-the-Clock" drill is a classic for building it across the whole board. As your buddy, I know this drill is fantastic for improving your accuracy on singles, doubles, and triples, making you a super well-rounded player.
To play, simply start at the number 1 and aim to hit its single segment. Once you hit it, move to the number 2, then 3, and so on, all the way around the board to 20\. After hitting 20, aim for the Bullseye. The basic version is just hitting the single segment of each number. For a tougher challenge, try "Round-the-Clock Doubles" (hitting the double segment of each number) or "Round-the-Clock Triples" (hitting the triple segment). You can set rules, like a limit of three darts per number before moving on, or you must hit the target before advancing. This drill forces you to adjust your aim for different areas, boosting your versatility and focus. Regular "Round-the-Clock" practice will really embed that muscle memory and make your overall consistency shine.
