While darts, boards, flights, and shafts are the main components, my friend, several accessories can significantly improve your game, make your equipment last longer, and just make things more convenient. As your buddy, I know these small tools often make a big difference in keeping you performing at your best.

A dart point sharpener is invaluable. A dull or burred point can actually damage your dartboard and lead to darts bouncing out. A quick polish with a sharpener keeps your points needle-sharp, ensuring they stick every time. O-rings (those small rubber rings) are another essential. They fit between the shaft and the barrel, creating a tighter seal that stops shafts from loosening during play, which can be a common annoyance.

A dart wallet or case (as we talked about earlier) protects your darts when you're not using them, keeping flights straight and preventing damage. Small flight protectors can be added to the end of your flights to prevent splitting. Other useful items include repointing tools (for changing points), spare flights and shafts, and a checkout card for quick reference. Investing in these seemingly minor accessories shows your commitment to your game and ensures your equipment is always ready to go.
